PROJECT PLANNING
Include the charger make and model, if selected, and where you want it installed. Tell us whether you already own the equipment. A hardwired charger connection and a dedicated receptacle installation involve different equipment and installation considerations.
Tell us where the electrical panel is in relation to the parking or charging location. Include the service size only if you already know it. Richard reviews available capacity and the wiring route before defining the circuit work.
If you are also adding an electric range, dryer, heating equipment or another substantial load, mention it with the charger request. Looking at the planned work together helps define the appropriate installation scope.
